Four Sverdlovsk IT companies gain the resident of Skolkovo status Fund Skolkovo is ready to support the innovative IT projects of Sverdlovsk Region. The ministry of communications’ press service announced that four IT companies in the Middle Urals gained the resident of Skolkovo status. This information was given at a start-ups and small innovative IT companies growth opportunities seminar. More than 60 representatives of the IT cluster participated in the seminar.

According to the minister of communications Irina Bogdanovich, the growth of IT is one of the priority directions for the Government of Sverdlovsk Region. 27 start-uppers and 9 active IT companies were subsidized in 2011 by the Ministry of Investment program. The collaboration with Skolkovo fund is in progress: four IT companies have gained the resident of the Fund status, 3 more applications are on the stage of document preparation.

The director of IT projects of Skolkovo fund Albert Efimov told the participants of the seminar about the opportunities given to the companies that gained residential status, about the procedure of gaining the status and also answered participants’ questions. The GM of Multiklet company Boris Zyryanov and the CEO of Skolkovo-Ural project Tatiana Emshanova shared their experience of working with the Fund.
