Startup Weekend expanding the boundaries: the event to take place in Kiev for the first time

Startup Weekend is a three-day investment Glavstart factory work program, which will allow Internet entrepreneurs to consult with experts, to check the viability of their projects in advance, to get the initial investment for a smaller share and, accordingly, increase the cost of their projects. Event administration marks the high activity of interesting projects in the Ukraine, so it was decided to hold a weekend, March 23-25, in Kiev, so as to provide the most successful and productive work with the Ukrainian start-up companies.

The Startup Weekend result should be a plan to create the first version of the product allowing to quickly and cost effectively verify the necessity of the project to the users and whether the startupers’ views on their business model are real.

Project teams able to explain and justify how and how much it will take them to test the viability of the project and the model will receive from $ 20,000 to $ 100,000 from Arcady Moreinis and the Glavstart Company.

On the first day of the weekend Arkady Moreinis will hold a seminar to explain:

• How to test the viability of your project with a minimum of money;
• What should be included in the first version of the product;
• How the hypothesis of the project development should be checked at the very beginning;
• How to attract investment so that the greatest possible interest for the founders would remain;
