The winners of Skolkovo architectural competition
The architectural competition for Technopark innovation center residential area design, conducted by the Skolkovo Fund, ended yesterday in Moscow. The expert jury selected the winners of a number of companies that will be engaged in residential area built-up, corresponding to the Skolkovo urban environment ideology, which means comfort, ecological compatibility, energy efficiency and a well-developed social infrastructure. The jury unanimously noted the high level work of the finalists.
The winners are Architectural Group DNA LLC; composite authors led by Dimitri Bush; Architecture and art studios and architects Velichkina Golovanov LLC; A-B Studio LLC; BRT-Rus LLC; Agence d'Architecture Anthony Bechu; "Am U-en-kei Project LLC; Am Atrium LLC; Alexey Yablokov and Eugene Kitselev; Portner LLC. Each of the 10 winners will be able to sign a contract with the Skolkovo Fund, the press service of the organization said.
The jury received 500 applications from Russia, CIS and far abroad. The authors of the top 30 projects, among which were both very experienced and very young architects, received 20,000 EUR. The next task was the development of a detailed architectural concept of a residential area.
Jury chairman Jean Pistrio, who also heads Skolkovo Town Planning Board noted a deep immersion in the subject, freedom of thought and passion of the participants' works. According to him, the contestants must make every effort to implement proposed ideas. The competition results will be announced at the Moscow Architecture Biannual Exhibition.
