6 more startups announced Yuri Milner and Paul Durov’s grants recipients

VKontakte social network Press Service today has announced the new winners of the Start Fellows project to support young Russian designers, which was launched by Yuri Milner and Paul Durov in December 2011. The aim of the project is to help the Internet startups by providing them with free cash grant of $ 25,000. Six companies were given the finances for further development.

• Animating Touch is a Mobile application, an animation editor that allows you to create short animated cartoons with characters designed for Android. The founder is Eugene Balandin.

• Keycaptcha.com is an Anti-spam protection Service using a very interactive CAPTCHA in the form of a puzzle with a built-in ability to monetize. The founders are Nicolay Price, Maxim Vladykin, Igor Nikiforov.

• KwikPik.me taxi service. A unique feature of the application is the complete lack of traffic control and the availability of direct passenger-driver contact. The founders are Roman and Paul Isakovs.

• Stampsy.com is a premium-class Blogging platform for magazines, bloggers in the field of design, fashion, architecture. The founder is Roman Mazurenko.

• Fixber.ru, websites and various software testing services. The founder is Maxim Koshcheev.

• ChooseMe is a Mobile application for flirting and dating in the form of a game. The founders are brothers Dmitri and Oleg Ignatovs.

Accepting applications for a grant is carried out at www.milnerdurov.com portal. Only Russian citizens or companies officially registered in Russia are allowed to participate in the competition. The Internet projects at any stage of development from idea to implemented projects are considered. The first six winners on the program became known in late December 2011.
