The Startup Bazaar First Investment Forum held in Novosibirsk

The authors of recent start-up projects will present ready-to-investment ideas to the representatives of Russian and foreign venture capital companies in Startup Bazaar, which will take place at the Novosibirsk Akademgorodok Technopark on April 13 and 14. Registration is open until March 28. Participation in the forum is free.

Siberian Academpark and business incubators residents as well as the finalists of the Summer and Winter Schools of Science and Technology Park will present their ideas. This ensures a high level of forum participants competence and will allow to show the investors the most developed innovative solutions.

Siberia has always been a top supplier of goods on the domestic and international markets - Natalia Pinus the Startup Bazaar director says. - One hundred years ago, these products were oil, fish and furs, half a century ago - minerals, and most recently, the main Siberian export article has become the new technology. The best cards in the country, the popular casual games, highly-sought around the world biodevelopments - the creators of these and many other projects have become leaders in their fields.

Young entrepreneurs working in IT, bio- and nanotechnology, instrumentation will participate in the Startup Bazaar. The start-ups competition finalists will receive funding or find mentors who will help them prepare to enter the market.

The organizers of the event, A: Start non-profit partnership and Academpark, plan to conduct Startup Bazaar in an unusual for such events format. Forum will be held in an atmosphere of the famous XIX century fairs, and its members are expected to watch not only promising projects, but the clowns, bears, balalaika and traditional Russian drinks.

Startup Bazaar is the regional stage of the BIT (Business Innovation Technologies) federal competition.
