Center for Innovation in the social sphere to appear in the Omsk region

The Omsk region Ministry of Economy and the Agency of strategic initiatives for promoting new projects (ASI) agreed at the meeting held on March 19 that center of innovation in the social sphere on the basis of the Omsk regional business incubator will start operating before the end of April.

At the opening day it is planned to sign an agreement on strategic partnership between the ASI and the Omsk region, as well as carry out a video conference with an opening on the same day St. Petersburg center, reports the the Omsk region Ministry of Economy press service.

Already implemented projects of the social entrepreneurship school in the region, training pupils within the Growth point youth business incubators, the support of socially-oriented non-profit organizations, as well as the support of socially significant entrepreneurial projects were discussed during the event. The ASI representatives highly evaluated the experience and achievements in this field.

ASI will assist the members of the Team managers of social services in the implementation of projects socially important to the region and the country as a whole, in overcoming the existing administrative barriers and replication of best practices across the country.

ASI Centers in the Omsk region and St. Petersburg will be pilot in the Russian regions.
