RUSNANO participates in NanoIsrael 2012 International Forum and Exhibition

RUSNANO participates in NanoIsrael 2012 International Forum and ExhibitionThe Delegation of the infrastructure and educational programs Fund and RUSNANO JSC headed by Andrei Malyshev, the Deputy Chairman of the Board, and RUSNANO Israel Ltd. President Arkady Mil-Man participates in NanoIsrael 2012 international technology forum and exhibition in Tel Aviv that takes place on March 26-27, 2012.

NanoIsrael 2012 was opened by the performance of Israeli President Shimon Peres, as RUSNANO press release said. Later, Shimon Peres visited the stand, organized by the infrastructure and educational programs Fund together with RUSNANO JSC.

NanoIsrael forum has established itself as a meeting place for representatives of Israeli and international companies, investors, corporate and university researchers, as well as officials from Israel and other countries. The aim of RUSNANO delegation is to meet with potential applicants from tech companies and co-investors. The forum was also attended by RUSNANO investment managers.

International projects, carrying out technology transfer to Russia, now present a significant proportion of the RUSNANO portfolio. Foreign applicants or co-investors are involved in 40 projects with a total budget of about $9.6 B. The share of RUSNANO investment in these projects is about $3.4 B. The first joint project with an Israeli company, the production of heat-removing substrates for LEDs and other electronic devices, has already launched its production in Vladimir.

Five Russian engineering companies of RUSNANO take part in NanoIsrael exhibition 2012 :

Virial is a manufacturer of wear resistant products nanostructured ceramics and cermets, including plain bearings operating in harsh environments at elevated pressure and temperature of cutting tools for hard materials.

Center for Advanced Technologies is a manufacturer of multifunctional probe microscopes, atomic weights and software for these devices.

NEVZ-Ceramics is a manufacturer of products made of nanostructured ceramics, including ceramic insulators for electric power, elements of valves for the oil and gas industry and armor ceramics products used in the manufacture of equipment for protection of personnel and panels for armored vehicles.

Erbitek is a manufacturer of lasers based on erbium garnet for non-contact blood collection and other applications.

Germanium and Applications is a manufacturer of electro-optical components for optics, electronics, chemical, aerospace, telecommunications and solar energy.
