Innovation projects competition for oil and gas sector

Skolkovo Fund supported by the Ministry of Energy and major oil and gas companies of Russia announces innovative projects competition for oil and gas sector. The contest aims at searching for new energy efficient technologies in production, processing and sale of oil and gas together with the small innovation companies and specialized higher education institutions. It is also directed at developing possibilities for implementing these technologies in real industrial activity for large-scale transmission in the oil and gas sector companies.

The contest will be held from March 29 to April 25, 2012. It welcomes all organizations involved in developing energy efficient technologies in production, processing and sale of oil and gas in the real-life production activity environment.

The finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects to the heads of major oil and gas companies of Russia during the final round table which will take place in May 2012.

During the event taking place on March 29, 2012 at 11:00 am the organizers will officially announce the launch of the innovation projects contest. Among the participants are Michael Slobodin, TNK-BP Management JSC Executive Vice-President; Svistunov Pavel, the Director of the Department of energy efficiency, modernization and TEC development under the RF Ministry of Energy; Vasily Belov, Skolkovo fund energy efficiency cluster CEO.
