The Komi Republic innovative developments to receive support

On April 3, 2012 an agreement on cooperation between the Republic of Komi Government and the Fund for promotion of small enterprises in scientific and technical sphere was signed. The agreement provides financial support for promising research, innovation developments of scholars, as well as small innovative companies operating on the territory of the Republic of Komi.

The document was signed by the Head of the Komi Republic Vyacheslav Gaiser and the Fund CEO Sergey Polyakov.

This is a new stage in our relationship. We have a desire to work, you have experience, I am sure together we can achieve our goals. I am convinced that the Fund's activities on the territory of the Republic will promote innovation in the region, promote closer cooperation between research institutions and innovative companies, - the press service of the Komi government head quotes Vyacheslav Gaiser.

In turn, Sergei Polyakov expressed confidence that Fund’s potential in the Republic will be in demand. I am very glad that our region has become another partner of the Fund in the Russian Federation, - he said.

It is planned that on the basis of the Komi Republican Academy of Public Administration and Management Initiative JSC fund affiliation will be opened, which will represent the interests of the Fund program and aiming at additional funding for projects of young scientists and small innovative companies.
