Funding for Academpark projects in 2012 will be increase by 80.5 M RUR. This was announced on April 3 at a meeting of the Legislative Assembly Committee on Transport by Vladimir Nikonov, the Minister for Science and Education of the Novosibirsk Region, adding that additional funds from the regional budget will be required to fulfill the obligations on several projects.
We have the 59 M RUR payables to the contractor since last year for the construction of the center of nanostructured materials - Nikonov said. - Another 9.5 M RUR will be required for constructing a pipeline to this center, as one of the directions of its activity, the production of carbon nanotubes, requires large amounts of gas. And the third: to lay the groundwork and the efficient use of budgetary funds in 2013, it is necessary to design the nanoelectronics prototyping center beforehand, this is 11.8 M RUR.
400 M RUR of the regional budget in 2012 have already been reserved for the implementation of Academpark development program, the federal government is ready to provide the same amount (one of the main conditions of federal funding is regional co-investment 50x50). But if the region reduces funding the objects already agreed with the federal center, sending 80.5 M for other purposes, then we have a dilemma: either we give up 80 million of federal funds and get 320 million, or increase the amount of funding from the regional budget.
As a result, the relevant committee members decided to allocate the necessary funds, reports the press service of Academpark.
