Innomed Forum in Penza

More than 500 representatives of medical and pharmaceutical industries and the innovation infrastructure of the country, as well as the CIS and foreign countries participate in the Innomed-2012 forum, which opens on Thursday in Penza.

It is the second time the innovation forum in medical and pharmaceutical industries in the region is carried out. The biomedical technologies innovative cluster is formed in Penza. The Penza cluster profile is the prostheses for human body.

One of the forum main ideas is creating the National Association of companies manufacturing implants, - Yuri Krivov, the Penza region Government President told RIA Novosti.

According to him, Innomed-2012 will develop effective models of implementing innovative technologies in medical and pharmaceutical industries.

The main thing for us is to unite and coordinate our efforts with regard to research and design work, market analysis, promotion and marketing policies, seeking support of state structures, - said Krivov.

An exhibition where scientists and industrialists will present innovative developments in medicine and pharmacy will take place within the event.
2011Medical Forum held in Penza was devoted to the problems of the Russian pharmaceutical market.
