The Altai region to create an industrial park estimated at 35 B RUR

During the meeting of agencies and the Union of Altai Industrialists representatives on March 28, 2012 in Barnaul Victor Meshcheryakov, the head of the Regional Administration of Energy and Industry, said that it is planned to create an industrial park totaling over 35 B RUR in Novoaltaisk, the Altai region.

Currently, the Novoaltajsk South park residents and the projects planned for implementation have already been defined. The company Carbonic intends to build the industrial complex on deep processing of wheat, costing 6.5 B RUR. The company SibirFinansGrupp, in turn, will create an enterprise for the production of aerated autoclaved aerocrete estimated at 1.2 B RUR. Other projects were also announced.

Anatoly Nagornov, the Head of The Main Altai Investment and Economy department, said at the meeting that the total cost of the industrial park will exceed 35 B RUR, it will be created with the participation of local, regional and federal budgets, involving private investment.

According to Meshcheryakov, the total amount of private investments made to date in developing the industrial park, is about 2 B RUR. It is expected that by the end of 2013 another 9.5 B RUR will be sent, about 5 B RUR of which in 2012.
