IT and Biomed Skolkovo clusters adopt new residentsWithin Skolkovo noon – innovation environment in St. Petersburg held this week at the Vasilevsky Island Skolkovo adopted 4 new participant-companies.

Residents received Skolkovo souvenir bricks and a certificate of registration in the innovation center Skolkovo from the hands of Viktor Vekselberg and Georgiy Poltavchenko, who, among other things, signed this day an agreement on cooperation in creating special conditions for development and implementation of new technologies in the northern capital.

The Information Technology cluster included three companies: MediaInsite (the Russian developer of speech recognition technology (translation of the speech signal into text), KoFiTe (Trading Platform LiveTrade; at the end of 2011, the company has already received 15 M RUR from the DRF RVC) and Cezurity - Cezurity Internet Security.

Biomedical Technology Cluster was expanded by the company Intro-Micro - development of individual gas analyzers based on Collisional Electron Spectroscopy (CES) for non-invasive medical monitoring on an ongoing basis.
