Development of youth entrepreneurship in Russia

The Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry held another, the fourth, meeting of the Coordination Council of RF CCI on the development of youth entrepreneurship, as reported by the RF CCI press service.

The purpose of the event is discussion of the RF CCI Concept for the development of youth entrepreneurship in Russia, proposals for CCI system participation in the implementation of federal programs to support youth entrepreneurship and preparation for the VI National Economic Summit Russia: Youth and Entrepreneurship, scheduled for May 22-23, 2012.

The meeting was opened and held by the Coordinating Council deputy chairman Mikhail Green. He spoke about the structure of the concept - the major challenges of the development the Russian youth entrepreneurship faces, mission and objectives of the Concept, international and Russian practice of youth entrepreneurship development.

The concept was discussed by the RF CCI Vice-President Alexander Zakharov, Greenfield Project co-founder Renat Garipov, president of the National Fund for the Promotion of International Youth Organizations JCI Ruslan Makarov, director of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics business incubator Ruslan Mamedov, director of the non-profit partnership Association of high technology parks , the Board Chairman of ANO Youth Innovation Centre Sistema-Sarov, a member of the Youth Coordinating Council in the science and education under the RF President Council for Science, Technology and Education Andrei Shpilenko etc.

The RF CCI Concept project for the development of youth entrepreneurship in Russia was approved by the Coordinating Board.

However, Alexander Zakharov advised to deepen certain provisions of the Concept and present its updated project by May 15 of this year for consideration at the summit Russia: Youth and Entrepreneurship, and present the concept to the Youth Coordinating Council in the science and education under the RF President Council for Science, Technology and Education for the joint refinement.

Further at the meeting proposals for CCI participation in the implementation of federal programs to support youth entrepreneurship were announced as well as the preparations for the VI National Economic Summit Russia: Youth and entrepreneurship.

In conclusion, the executive secretary of the Coordinating Council, an expert of the RF CCI Department for the development of entrepreneurship and innovation German Belyaev announced changes in the Coordinating Council membership.
