The VI From Science to Business International Forum will open in May, 16 in St. Petersburg, and it is dedicated to the experience of the regions and the role of universities in the commercialization of high technologies. More than 200 participants will discuss the main challenges of the new economy - Russia's lack of demand for innovation, law imperfection, lack of staff, etc.
The participants of the VI From Science to Business International Forum are the representatives of governments, business and science. The leaders of relevant departments in Republic of Tatarstan, Tomsk, Tyumen and Kaluga regions will share their experience in the development of innovation. Experts from the U.S., UK, Germany and Finland will tell about the innovation ecosystems formation. The Forum will bring together experts from 63 cities and 12 countries.
An Innovation Ecosystem of Institutions and their Role in the Development of Innovation in Regions online conference will take place in May 17 during the Forum for the first time. The conference will be organized within the framework of Russian-American program EUREKA (The development of research and entrepreneurial potential of Russian universities). The participants will talk about the experience of U.S. universities on building a chain of technology transfer in the Russian universities, their interaction and impact on the regions.
Business community is traditionally interested in the Forum. Specialists of Russian Venture Company, JSC, RUSNANO JSC, Speech Technology Center, LLC will talk about their initiatives on commercialization of university development, and participation in training.
