Bashkortostan is participating in the competitive selection of the subjects of the Russian Federation which budgets get subsidies for activities carried out under the state provision of small and medium-sized businesses. Applications will be accepted till May, 15.
Bashkortostan intends to attract considerable part of money (about 90 M RUR) to support and develop cluster initiatives implementing under the program of innovation development.
Bashkortostan Center of Cluster Development has some experience that is considered at the federal level for broadcasting in other regions of Russia. The national innovation development program implementation in 2011 is one of the most successful and effective according to experts.
The Center for Cluster Development of the Republic of Bashkortostan (RB CCD) was formed in December last year. The priorities of the Center are the Long-term target innovative program realization in 2011-2015, as well as the Action Plan on cluster policy implementation in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Today there are six innovation clusters in the republic that are formed and managed by RB CCD: chemistry and biotechnology, light and ultralight aviation, pharmaceutical and medical industries, information technology, oil service cluster; research and production of nanomaterials cluster, Bashinform reports.
