Novosibirsk young scientists got 6 M RUR for their projects implementationNovosibirsk Coordinating Council for the support of young scientists has provided a subsidy of 6 M RUR to innovation specialists. Grants are allocated to 47 scientific projects.

Awarding of winners will take place in May, 16 within the Successful Projects of Young Scientists for Novosibirsk youth scientific conference.

The competition holds by the Municipality of Novosibirsk since 2005 - in the press center of the Novosibirsk Municipality reported. - This year, every fifth young scientist’s project, submitted for obtaining Municipal grants, received financial support.

Graduate students under the age of 30, Masters of Science in the age of 35, young researchers without degree and under the age of 30, doctors under the age of 40 years from Novosibirsk scientific organizations and educational institutions could participate in the competition.

This year the competition received 243 applications. The selection of projects took into consideration the following criteria: scientific level of the project, compliance with the priority directions of scientific-technical and innovation activities of the city, the relevance of the project for economic and social development of Novosibirsk, innovation and readiness for implementation, the economic and social efficiency of project implementation.

The total amount of subsidies is 6 M RUR, and that is 1 M RUR more than last year.
