American Business Accelerator invites Russian businessmen

American Business Accelerator LaunchHouse invites entrepreneurs from Russia to take part in an international 12-week program of development in the accelerator’s motherland - in Ohio. Ten teams that will pass the competitive selection will receive grants of up to $ 25000, as well as the opportunity to work in practical laboratories, to communicate with the world leaders in the professional field, to attend events with successful entrepreneurs, to become part of an innovative work environment. Seed Fund has allocated a few vacancies in a program specifically for entrepreneurs from Russia.

Applications from the participants are accepted till July 1, 2012, the program starts on September 3, 2012. LaunchHouse accelerator repeats the model of the best American business incubators such as Y Combinator and TechCrunch. The teams of two or three founders working in technological fields are invited to participate. Ten teams will be selected for participation in the 12-week program.

The winning teams will move to Cleveland, Ohio, for 12 weeks to work at the LaunchHouse site with the area of 2140 sq.m., resembling Silicon Valley. Conditions for productive collaboration will be created for the participants, involving improvised brainstorm sessions (brainstorming), day and night in the company of like-minded people. LaunchHouse will cover expenses on placing participants.

LaunchHouse Program Accelerator aims at helping entrepreneurs to implement their ideas during the program. LaunchHouse development methods involve working directly with the consumer. 12-week program will end the presentations day on November 28, where teams will present their projects to the U.S. venture investors and business angels.

LaunchHouse is organized in the form of public-private partnership with participation of Shaker Heights, Ohio. Business Accelerator aims at promoting the success of entrepreneurs and job creation through the provision of pre-seed financing, education and innovation.
