12 M RUR state support for Tyumen innovation projects7 Tyumen innovation companies received more than 12 M RUR by the decision of the Commission for the selection of state support candidates as grants for scientific, technical and innovation activities, chaired by the Deputy Governor of the Tyumen region Oleg Zaruba. The selection of projects was made in May 11, 2012 at the conference hall of Siberia Tyumen Technopark.

Nine innovative projects at the stage of test model development were presented to the Commission, according to the press service of the Technology Park. Applicants’ technological projects cover a wide range of industry application, from oil and gas industry to medicine and energy conservation.

Following the Commission's meeting, seven innovation companies got state subsidies. The total amount of innovative products test models co-financing is 12 030 984.00 RUR provided by the regional budget.

The following 6 residents from the Business Incubator of Tyumen industrial park have received state subsidy:

- Sinest, LLC (Sinest technological innovation is an innovative platform for the development and implementation of the Internet applications);
- NPIP TIMIN, LLC (Register of TB patients in the standard HL7Automated system technological innovation);
- TASO, LLC (technological innovation Creating a prototype software system of integrated development environment (IDE) neurogenetic networks, dynamic models of complex systems and artificial cognitive systems TASO NEYROKONSTRUKTOR for serial and parallel (supercomputer) computer architectures);
- Unicore Technology, LLC (The iKey software technological innovation);
- INTES, LLC (Linear motor for a submersible pump plunger technological innovation);
- Ecowool Tyumen Firm, LLC (Mobile unit for mechanical treatment of oil saturated proppants technological innovation).

As well as Spetsdetal, LLC (technological innovation: the hydraulic unit PTO system of a small hydropower station test module).

In 2005 the government of the Tyumen Region has developed a Strategy of the Tyumen Region development till 2020 which stipulates the creation of an innovation center on the Region’s territory. In November, 2005 the Tyumen Region participated in a federal competition for a special technical-promotional economic zone deployment in the Region. At the end of the contest it was decided to establish a Technical Innovation Park in the Tyumen Region.
