Much preparatory work has been done ahead of Interra-2012 forum

June, 1 the Government of the Novosibirsk region held the second meeting of the organizing committee of the International Innovation Forum Interra, during which the key developments and expected results of the forum were market. The meeting was headed by the Governor of Novosibirsk region Vasiliy Yurchenko.

Interra International Innovation Forum will take place in September, 14-15 and its theme in 2012 is formulated as Innovations for Living. The program of the forum includes four aspects: The policy and management in innovation development, The area of innovation, New Economy, City for Life.

The director of the Interra Forum Lada Yurchenko identified a number of key points of the forum, the work on which will be its main result. First, from June, 10 to August, 15 will be Competition of innovative projects and ideas to improve the quality of life in the region. Anyone can take part in the contest.

Secondly, the New Economy direction, the main agenda of which is the implementation of cluster interaction in Novosibirsk region, will include a presentation and discussion of the cluster management models and strategies for their development in the region.

The third important result of Interra work will be presented at the The Area of Innovation direction. At the preliminary stage of the direction, the concept of an Educational Center will be formed, which, being an equivalent of Skolkovo will offer a different model of organization.

Along with the four working areas, the program of the forum includes a series of official events: opening, Expert Symposium, official closing and summarizing.
The structure of all areas is the same, - Lada Yurchenko said - From the Plenary Session with agenda, including the general, strategic and problem issues considering through the active work in the form of plenary sessions and round tables, to the debriefing at the final Summary Report.

Invitation campaign has been launched in April. Our database, formed over the years, includes more than 5,000 contacts now and we actively work with them. Also, the list of forum’s experts has been formed, it includes 200 people, - said the administrative director of the forum Stanislav Bolotov. - It is planned that, along with the participants, experts, guests and partners over 5000 visitors will be brought together during Interra public events.
