June 15, 2012 The Government of Novosibirsk Region will hold the VI Siberian Venture Fair, which aims to develop an effective infrastructure for financing of innovative enterprises.
The main strategic objective of the VI Siberian Venture Fair is to organize a meeting for innovative business entrepreneurs and investors, to provide an easy access to all major resources for high-tech and innovative business, to continue the forming of investment attractiveness of Novosibirsk Region.
The exhibition organizers are the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation Policy, Foundation for Science and Innovation of Novosibirsk Region, the Foundation to promote venture capital investments in small enterprises in scientific-technical sphere of Novosibirsk Region and the Russian Association of Direct and Venture Investment (RADVI).
Projects of 51 teams from five regions will be presented to the Fair’s exhibition: Novosibirsk Oblast, Altai Krai, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk and Tomsk.
The delegation of experts and investors from Moscow and St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk and Vladivostok and other areas of the country will take part in the event. Among the delegates are the managers and partners from leading Russian and foreign venture capital funds and private equity funds, leading managers from investment firms and banks, managers and partners of Russian and foreign stock exchanges.
Business Program of the VI Siberian Venture Fair traditionally includes a wide range of events dedicated to the analysis of gained experience accumulated by venture capitalists in Russia and abroad, the development of domestic industry, venture capital and direct investments and transferring of the Russian economy to an innovative path of development.
The exposition of the Fair will include several specialized areas and innovative companies will present their business to venture investors within each area.
