Perm Region and the Russian Chamber of Commerce signed an agreement on cooperation for the next two years. In particular, the region intends to expand the support for small business and is willing to launch a number of special programs. One of the programs provides for the establishing of 38 business support centers in the region which will advise novice businessmen.
The document was signed by the head of the region Viktor Basargin and the President the Russian Chamber of Commerce Sergei Katyrin, according to the press service of Perm region.
Today, our region needs to enhance its investment attractiveness, so we will pursue a policy on business support. It is important that businesses feel comfortable. One of the problems is personnel for enterprises. We have certain achievements today, but we must go further. We need to increase the competitiveness of our businesses, to develop youth entrepreneurship - said Victor Basargin in his opening remarks.
On the proposal of the President of Perm’s Chamber of Commerce Marat Bimatov a network of business support centers will be created in the region, where business can get development assistance. We intend to establish 38 centers for three years - said Bimatov.
We will do our best to support this pilot project and then be able to relay it to other Russian regions - said the President of Russian of Chamber of Commerce Sergey Katyrin.
