St. Petersburg hosted a working meeting between Rustem Khamitov, the President of Bashkortostan, and Nikolai Nikiforov, the Minister of Telecommunications of Russia.
As the correspondent of RG was informed at the presidential press service of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the following issues were discussed at the meeting: the telecommunications development, electronic services delivery, as well as creating Kurai high-tech industrial park. The head of Bashkortostan said that a building for accommodating the technopark has already been allocated and profile investors have been found.
Kurai Technopark is supposed to be developed on the basis of the operating state unitary enterprise complex Institute of Energy Resources Transportation Problems.
The existing IERTP building will be upgraded. Two floors will be added, and additional housing will be built next to it. The total area of ??the industrial park will comprise 26.5 thousand sq. m. Its launch is planned for the fourth quarter of 2014. A number of private companies are willing to become investors.
Bashkortostan's participation in the federal program allows to attract 1 B investment from the federal treasury as co-financing for the B invested by the republic, - said Rustem Khamitov during the intercourse with the Minister of Telecommunications of Russia.
