The association of medical startups MedStar runs a series of events Healthcare Networking in Moscow dedicated to innovations in biotechnology.

The most urgent and practical issues of commercialization of medical technologies will be discussed at the first event in July 3. The discussion will bring together experienced professionals, practitioners and health services representatives.

During the first part of event the guests will consider two important questions: what technologies are necessary to Russian health care and how to choose a niche to commercialize your technology. The first issue of the report to be discussed is The Needs of Russian Medical Institutions by Alexei Moryakov, the head of the Medical Center Clinic 31. The second question will be discussed within the round table on How to choose a market niche for the commercialization of your technology. The round table includes:

- Mikhail Samsonov, MIN, (director of medical direction P-Pharm)
- Igor Pivovarov (the CEO of Hemacore)
- Dr. Milena Adamian, (the founder and Executive Director of Life Sciences Angel Network (New York, USA) and CEO of Easton Capital Venture Fund (New York, USA))
- Michael Shekhovtsov (the founder of TexDrive)

Within the second part of the meeting four startups will present their projects and receive feedback from the audience about how to develop more effectively. After that, the audience can communicate informally and share business contacts.
