The governor of Amur Region supported the creation of an industrial parkThe head of Amur Region Oleg Kozhemyako discussed the creation of regional industrial park with Acting Amur State University Rector Andrew Plutenko at a meeting that took place today, July 11, the portal of regional office says.

It is planned to create Technopark’s infrastructure that will help to open and develop new companies involved in knowledge intensive, innovation and business developments. Several areas have been defined: IT-technology, energy, process automation, mechanization of agriculture and manufacturing.

We will provide the infrastructure - office space, Internet access, consulting lawyers, economists, customs officers, tax inspectors and other professionals. We will also provide a production base that will make it possible to produce prototype products so the companies could find investors to expand the production. Already running companies will also be able to use latest equipment, which they couldn’t afford before, - Andrey Plutenko said.

Modern technology-innovative park and business incubator are planned to be located in an ASU building in Blagoveshchensk near North and October streets. Its area is 3600 square meters.
The issue of the technology park was broached more than once. We have nothing of the kind there, so we will support this idea. Now we need to calculate the cost of construction, engineering, communications, so we could provide budget funds for these purposes in 2013 - Oleg Kozhemyako said.

The opening of Institute of Culture in Amur region was also discussed at the meeting. Perhaps it will be based on ASU. This issue will be worked out in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of the region.
