Minute of technoslavy will become a traditional contest of INNOPROMMinute of technoslavy pilot project initiated a productive dialogue between the authorities of the region and the younger generation of Sverdlovsk. This opinion was expressed by the governor of Sverdlovsk region Eugene Kuyvashev at the finals of an interactive show Minute of technoslavy which took place at the stand of Sverdlovsk region on July 14, the final day of INNOPROM-2012 business program.

Eugene Kuyvashev thanked Evraz-Holding, the general partner of the contest, for the opportunity to develop talented young people of Sverdlovsk region. Receiving a classical education and management training is a priority of our region and whole Russia, - the Governor said.

Modernization of the country is impossible without modern, energetic, enthusiastic, smart people. Our youth has demonstrated its willingness to actively participate in the innovative development of the country, to change the technological setup of society, - said the head of the region announcing the decision of the expert council.

The expert council included the rector of Ural Federal University, named after the first Russian President B. N. Yeltsin, Victor Koksharov, the Vice President for UrFU Innovation Sergei Kortov, the rector of Ural State Economic University Mikhail Fedorov, the director of Evraz-Holding relations with public authorities Maria Dronova.

We would remind you that 10 finalists of Minute of technoslavy innovative ideas contest were announced on July, 10. They competed for the right to be the best on July, 14.

Under the terms of the competition, 2 projects became the winners and got a unique opportunity of two-year training at Yale University business school (USA).

The advisory council unanimously accepted the best project called Platform stabilization system with a video camera on the quadrocopter, whose author, Taras Shevchenko, completes UrFU MA course. And also the project Chip as a modulator to protect against electric shock. Its author is a post-graduate of Technosphere safety Department of USURT Dennis Krupenin.

The main idea of Shevchenko’s project is an integrated management system for the control of a camera or other device mounted on an aircraft. The uniqueness of the module is solving the problems of air surveillance and monitoring.

According to the project by Dennis Krupenin, a modulator chip might be built in electricians working clothes.

Mary Dronova admired the projects represented in the finals.

Evraz-Holing has been operating in the region for 20 years. For us, representatives of big business, it is important that the relationships between large, medium and small businesses are to be built as a partnership, and I think that this competition is the beginning of such partnerships in Sverdlovsk region - Mary Dronova said in her speech.

The head of the region promised residents of Sverdlovsk region that the contest Minute of technoslavy will become traditional and will be conducted within each INNOPROM.

51 bids were filed to the contest. At the same time the disproportion in age of the youngest contender for the victory - the fourth grade student - and the eldest of the participants - Professor of Economic University of USUE – is 80 years.

The competition aims to support talented youth initiatives, identifying the most promising innovative ideas for the advancement of economic and social development, youth involvement in social life, as well as the promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation among young people.
