E.ventures Venture Fund announces its global presenceBV Capital Company announced the rebranding. The new structure was called e.ventures and united five funds that invest around the world.

BVCapital Fund (or EventureCapitalPartners), which is e.ventures now, has actively invested in Internet companies over the past 15 years - since 1998 – in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Latin America. The fund invests in Russian and Ukrainian local internet companies since 2008. Until now, BV Capital’s staff managed five separate funds and each of them had his own name. Now they are all united in a single structure with standardized names: e.ventures BV Fund will invest in the U.S., e.ventures Europe - in Europe, e.ventures Russia - in Russia, Infinity e.ventures - in China and Japan, and Redpoint e.ventures - in Brazil.

As a result of uniting, portfolio companies of the investment firm will have an access to world financial and technological resources, in addition, their opportunities for international expansion will increase, - the fund says.

The total amount of funds under e.ventures control is $ 750 M.

Each of the five funds is represented by a local team. There are 30 people working in e.ventures fund, 11 among them are the partners. Damian Dobershteyn was appointed the Managing Partner of e.ventures Russia. Damian is a co-founder of KupiVIP holding, Russia's largest shopping club, and it is also a provider of e-commerce services with sales of more than $ 200 M.

All e.ventures funds have an overarching strategy, which is implemented considering local know-how of each market, thus responding to their requirements. e.ventures invests in high-tech companies developing innovative solutions in both online and mobile applications. As a partner, e.ventures supports start-ups not only financially but also when entering the international market, providing its expertise and global network of contacts. The purpose of e.ventures is to help young entrepreneurs to build a small start-up into a highly scalable business model to establish itself as a market leader.

e.ventures’ portfolio has 75 invested companies, the most famous of them in Russia are Groupon, NGINX, Sapato, Heverest. A discount service Darberry, and an online shoe-shop Sapato became the first successful projects of e.ventures Russia; the companies were acquired by Groupon Inc. and Ozon.ru respectively.
