Skolkovo invited innovative projects from KyrgyzstanThe Skolkovo Fund and public service of intellectual property and innovation of the Government of Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyzpatent) signed a cooperation agreement for the implementation of projects carried out under the interstate program of innovation cooperation of CIS countries until 2020, RIA Novosti reported.

The signing took place on Tuesday during a visit of the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Omurbek Babanov to Russia. The document was signed by the head of Kyrgyzpatent Marat Nazarbekov and the vice-president of the Skolkovo Stanislav Naumov.

I'd like us to have a very close cooperation, - Babanov said at the signing ceremony. The Prime Minister said that there are many innovative projects in Kyrgyzstan, and some companies may be preparing applications to join Skolkovo.

In turn, the president of Skolkovo Viktor Vekselberg expressed his hope that the Kyrgyz talented professionals will work within the Russian innovation center.

We would really like... young people from Kyrgyzstan to go to us, to Skolkovo instead of to Silicon Valley in America, - Vekselberg said.

CIS Economic Council assigned the foundation as the operator of interstate program of innovation cooperation of CIS countries until 2020.

Innovation Center Skolkovo should become Russia's largest testing ground for new economic policy. Special conditions for research and development, including the creation of energy and energy efficiency, nuclear, aerospace, biomedical and computer technology will be created at a designated area near Moscow.
