Tyumen innovative companies to receive money for prototyping

Six innovative companies of Tyumen region will receive support of more than 7.2 M RUR from the authorities as grants for prototyping.
13 innovative projects under development of the prototype were submitted to the Commission. Technological innovations of applicants cover a wide range of industry application, from oil and gas industry to medicine and information technology. It is reported that four companies from the list of grants’ recipients are residents of Tyumen Technopark’s business incubator.

• Center of Scientific Research is in prototyping of an analog-stimulation program for the correction of speech disorders of preschool age children.
• Tyumen Institute of microbiological technologies –the development of hardware and software to determine the optimum conditions for the isolation of uncultured bacteria.
• Krisaf company - the creation of a robotic simulator for the rehabilitation of patients with neurological disorders of motor function.
• Tyumen Commodity Company - the development of experimental-industrial mobile unit for the extraction of iodine from the groundwater.
• Aquaculture Innovation Center - the development of a compact system for hatchery rearing.
• Tyumen Center for Molecular Genetics - the creation of a regional register of patients who are at risk of developing type 2 diabetes based on genotyping data using specially developed DNA biochip.

In addition to these companies, the government of Tyumen region will also reimburse the costs of production and distribution of already created inventions brought by SibStroy-Ecology, Tyumen Ecowool Company, Research Institute of Ecology and management of natural resources. The total amount of reimbursement is 11.2 M RUR. And EKOGAZ Company will receive a grant of 500 K RUR for the creation of its innovative company.

According to the chairman of Regional Innovation Committee Alexey Sannikov, the system of Tyumen region innovation activities support is one of the best in Russia.
