The VIII selection in the business incubator of Kazan IT-Park ended. For the right to become the residents of country’s best business incubator competed more than 50 start-up teams from 10 cities of Russia: Almetyevsk, Birsk, Yoshkar-Ola, Kazan, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg, St. Petersburg Ufa and Ulyanovsk.
4 projects will occupy provided mini-offices in the near future. - Track-service (Kazan) - a system for monitoring and controlling the movement of vehicles using GPS / GLONASS beacons. - Plan4 Telecom (Moscow) - a support system for making strategic and tactical decisions in telecommunications. - Marabaka (Kazan) – an iPad app with interactive instructions on assembling interesting do-it-yourself things, and a website where kids can upload photos of their inventions and crafts to. - Online tutoring (Kazan) – a cloud platform for distance learning with the quality of knowledge transfer monitoring and control of the level of students’ attention through a webcam.
Besides 6 equipped jobsites, the guys who became full-time residents will receive accounting and legal advice, project-managers’ support and other services.
10 projects received the status of a distant resident: Spikfon, Fixfeel, Freshle, Freezetime, Liensy, Foundook, Disciplina, vAcademia, Home Continent, Dogzitive projects.
Distant residents will receive the same benefits as full-time ones, except for jobs in the business incubator of Kazan IT-Park: business advice, free use of technology park’s infrastructure (meeting rooms and so on.), mentoring of the IT-park, participation in various programs as IT-park’s residents to support the development of small and medium enterprises of Russia and the Republic of Tatarstan, training opportunities (in the U.S.), etc.
The experts noted the high level of all projects and wished good luck to the participants who did not pass the selection.
