Station X was founded in 2010 by Richard Gould, Tod Klingler and Andrew McBride. The project will spend the investment on expansion and acceleration of the commercialization of its main product GenePool, which is a software platform to search for biomarkers that can store, analyze and visualize large amounts of genomic data for translational researches, the development of diagnostic tests and medicines, and for clinical genomic analysis.

The last round of funding was the second one for the company, but the names of the first investors and the size of received funds were not disclosed.
