LETA Capital invests in Russian SaaS service RedHelper

LETA Capital invests in Russian SaaS service RedHelperRussian developer of a SaaS services for e-commerce RedHelper Company has received investment from LETA Capital, a managing and investment company in advanced information technologies. The total investment at the first stage is just over $600K while the value of the company is more than $2M. The investment will be spent on technological improvement of the service, active marketing and international expansion.

As a result of its development, RedHelper should become a leading service in the Russian segment of the Internet and take a leading position in the global market. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

RedHelper Company develops a service that can significantly boost the sales of any e-commerce platform. The solution includes: LiveChat (Instant communication between the visitor and the operator), co-browsing technology and a system for optimal operators’ traffic. The system is rapidly spreading in the markets of more than 15 countries through the use of integrated solutions, easy integration into business using SaaS models, and use-friendly interfaces.

The interest of LETA Capital Fund in RedHelper is conditional on the fact that the project has unique technical capabilities which can be developed and scaled. In addition, the project is working in a new and highly prospective market and has begun its active international expansion. At this stage, more than 5000 sites are connected to the system. More than 20K operators work on the platform every day. RedHelper recently introduced its co-browse service, allowing the operator of the online store to help customers in choosing the right product showing it right in their browsers.

Investment in RedHelper project is a logical continuation of our cooperation. During the time we have been working with the project, it showed strong growth of both the customer base and the development of technologies available for use in the system, - Sergey Toporov says, the chief investment manager of LETA Capital.
