The development of regional innovation clusters to be discussed in Dubna

The third All-Russian scientific-practical conference The principles and mechanisms of national innovation system forming in the Russian Federation will take place on October 4-5 in special economic zone (SEZ) of technology-innovative type Dubna. The event will be focused on the creation and development of Russian regional innovative clusters.

The event will be aimed at the elaborating of specific tools for the development of innovative regional clusters.

A list of 25 such clusters in different regions of the country, chosen on a competitive basis in accordance with the request of the President of the Russian Federation to receive state support since 2013, was previously made by the Ministry of Economic Development.

A series of scientific and technical mini-conferences devoted to the innovation cluster in Dubna development and, in particular, to the application of nuclear technologies in medicine, composite materials and the design of complex technical systems.

Representatives of the federal and regional governments, local authorities, heads of regional innovation clusters of Russia, representatives of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia, state development institutions, business, science and education are invited to participate in the conference.

The co-organizers of the conference are the Ministry of Economic Development, the government of Moscow Region, JSC Special Economic Zones, Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna administration and other organizations.
