The III North Caucasus Innovation Forum in Dagestan

The III North Caucasus Innovation Forum (SKIF-2012) opened on October, 10 in Kaspiisk. The Forum traditionally includes several events: the third North-Caucasian Venture Fair, the second North Caucasus convention on multi-agent robotics and intelligent habitats, International Scientific Conference Automation and Intelligent Systems and Habitats, round-tables on the prospects of the development of renewable energy in Russia, composite materials and nanotechnology.

North Caucasus Venture Fair has become a platform for demonstration the achievements of science and business - from ideas and technologies to developments and projects. It presents projects of all areas - energy, construction, health, education and other sectoral innovation projects, as well as works of scholars and professionals from leading universities of the county.

The Minister of Industry, Energy and Communications of RD Magomedgusen Nasrudinov said at the opening ceremony that North Caucasus becomes the territory that is attractive to invest in, and it is ready for the three main components of the forum - integration, innovation and investment, as riadagestan.ru portal reports.

The General Director of Dagkremny Idris Idrisov said that the North Caucasus Venture Fair has become a platform to demonstrate the achievements of science and business. There are companies in the region that are able to go globally, meaning that they can expertise, have technologies, research and marketing promotion. Our task is to develop the areas they are specialized in. - Idrisov said.
