RVC to conduct InvestDay within RVC SmartFuture events

OJSC RVC will conduct RVC SmartFuture: InvestDay from October, 31 to November, 3, 2012 at the Moscow International Forum for innovative development Open Innovations.

RVC SmartFuture: InvestDay is a series of events for existing and potential investors of technological startups. The event includes more than 10 conferences and round tables held within MIFID. The main activities are scheduled on the first day of the event on October, 31 and will take place in all RVC’s halls.

A special discussion session LP Unlimited, aimed at investors called Limited Partners (LP) and professional management companies called General Partners (GP), must be of visitors’ particular interest. The discussion will cover the topics of investment in new and insufficiently explored Russian high tech market. Invited experts will discuss the rules of the market of venture capital investments with the guests of the conference, they will also share their experience of successful investments in technology projects and talk about the mechanisms of participation in venture capital funds.

Leading Russian and international experts of venture market are invited to participate in the event as the speakers. Among the speakers of LP Unlimited are such eminent representatives of the global venture capital industry as the chairman of UFG Asset Management’s board of directors Charles Ryan, the founder and managing director of Allegis Capital Robert Ackerman, the director of BlackRock Investment Managers David Greem and others.

The guests of RVC SmartFuture: InvestDay are the representatives of major Russian industrial holding companies and companies that promote research and innovation sectors, as well as managers of Russian investment companies and venture capital funds that invest in high-tech projects.
