Skolkovo to support inno-projects of Krasnoyarsk Krai

The cluster of Space Technologies and Telecommunications of the Skolkovo Fund will support four innovative projects in space technology of Krasnoyarsk regional innovation and technology business incubator.

This was reported by the Acting Minister of Investments and Innovations of Krasnoyarsk Olga Ruhullaeva, noting that the support from the Russian innovation center will be received by a project to produce very thin wire using aluminum alloy, which will significantly reduce the net weight of spacecrafts and increase its payload. Another project to receive support from the Center is a project for the production of solar cells using new materials and technologies, which will significantly reduce their cost.

At the same time, the development and introduction of a significant part of advanced space technologies will be implemented in Krasnoyarsk Krai, the director for the development of the Cluster of Space Technologies and Telecommunications of the Skolkovo Fund Dmitry Paison says. He noted that Krasnoyarsk Krai is actually one of the world centers of satellite designing, there is leading Russian company for the production of spacecrafts JSC Information Satellite Systems in the krai that is well-integrated into the business processes of space communications, navigation and geodesy.
