RVC and AIRR to make a rating of high-growth companies

JSC RVC together with the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology, the Foundation for Infrastructure and Educational Programmes RUSNANO and OJSC Russian Bank for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME Bank) form Russia's first rating of fast-growing companies TechUspeh. The purpose of the rating is to identify and demonstrate the best Russian innovative companies to the public. The Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR) is the operator of the rating.

A list of top 100 companies was made at the first stage of selection to selected ten and thirty leaders of the rating. The selection is carried out by the Expert Council, which includes successful innovative entrepreneurs, the owners and managers of large innovative companies, investors, the executives of media consulting companies offering professional promotion and support for innovative businesses and companies in Russia.

Ivan M. Bortnik, the executive director of the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia, said: We talk a lot about innovations and breakthrough technologies, and more about that they do not come to Russia, that there is neither real leaders, nor real high-growth innovative companies in our country. All our attention is paid to large corporations, we attempt to motivate them to innovate. But there are hundreds of successful companies that have been established in the contemporary economic history of Russia. And this rating is about them.
