Petersburg to set up an Investment Council and Investments Attraction Agency

The new head of the Committee for Investments and Strategic Projects (CISP) Irina Babiuk said that the investment policy of St. Petersburg will be reviewed.

The investment policy of St. Petersburg will be reviewed at this stage. We will begin with the formation of needs, assessment of the economic sectors that need investments, - Babiuk told reporters.

In particular, the mechanism to attract investment will be reconsidered with reference to the work with investors. In addition, an Investments Attraction Agency will be also set up, as well as an Investment Council which will be headed by the governor.
