Skolkovo takes its residents to China

A business mission of the Skolkovo Fund's delegation in Beijing jointly with Skolkovo residents took place from the 22 to 25th of October. Individual meetings with potential Chinese partners, visiting companies and organizations of innovative infrastructures, as well as useful contacts at the governmental level were organized for the companies that took part in the mission.

Working talks with the Chinese side, including the Ministry of Science and Technology, Center for the technology industry Torch, the administration of the largest industrial park in China Z-park and other key organizations of the innovation ecosystem of Beijing were held during the business trip.

The feedback from the participants and concrete results achieved by the companies are the key parameters to assess the success of any business mission - Anna Nikitina, the director of international programs for the development of Technopark Skolkovo says. - In this regard, the trip to China is a good example.

Trip participants also noted the great benefit from visiting China. Vladimir Tsaganov, the Head of International Sales at Ltd. Protection Technology Research says: The visit of Skolkovo allowed us to meet with the heads of industrial parks that are actually able to make decisions and provide effective assistance in the development of our ideas. Tsaganov expressed a desire to take part in other trips of Skolkovo, because this format is effective and can solve existing problems and help to agree on future cooperation.

Ltd. Protection Technology Research, a participant of the IT cluster, has reached some useful agreements with the management of Z-Park. Quantum Pharmaceuticals company, a participant from the biomedical technologies cluster, set direct contacts with the biocluster of Z-park and technology park in Shanghai, started negotiations with its representatives on the prospects for practical cooperation. RRT Global company, a participant from the cluster of energy efficient technologies, discusses the possibility of cooperation with a number of Chinese core companies.
