The total budget of the project is 3.8B RUR, including 1.8B RUR co-financing of RUSNANO.

The main objective of the center is the commercialization of innovative projects at the early stage and the provision a full range of services for the applicants - from consulting and expertise to the funding of small innovative companies and leasing of specialized technological and analytical equipment.

Nanotechnology Center of the Republic of Tatarstan is focused on three main areas - polymer and composite materials, biotechnologies and pharmaceuticals. The infrastructure of the Center is at two sites - in Technopark Idea and technopolis Khimgrad.

Tatarstan is one of the most innovative Russian regions, so it is natural that the first nanocenter has been opened here, - the managing director of the Fund for infrastructure and educational programs Evgeny Evdokimov says. – The services of the Center and its equipment will reduce financial costs and save time for start-ups development.

According to the general director of the Nanotechnology Center of the RT Dmitry Pashin, the format of its work is unique for Russia: Developers and entrepreneurs are given a real chance to implement ideas, capitalizing the results of their activities. We know that nanotechnology requires large amounts of money for analytical and process equipment. Not all startups can afford to buy the equipment. RUSNANO’s network of nanocenters offers developers everything needed to create and develop their technological business.
