Anatoly Chubais, the CEO and president of Rusnano, Russia?s nanotech giant, has invited the Russian Audit Chamber for ?a direct and to-the-point discussion? of the results of the Chamber?s most recent inspection at Rusnano which is said to have brought to light ?a large volume of violations,? Russian news agency RIA Novosti reports. In December 2012, the Audit Chamber announced plans to look into whether Rusnano had efficiently appropriated the federal funds allocated for it between 2007 and 2012. Earlier this month Sergei Agaptsov, a Chamber auditor, talked in public about transgressions. ?We are ready for a candid dialog with the esteemed auditor. We could do it via television, but it seems to me that it would be more appropriate to do it directly, one on one, asking questions to the point,? Mr. Chubais said. Rusnano, now a joint-stock company, was established in March 2011 by reorganizing what had been between 2007 and 2011 the Russian State Nanotech Corporation.
