Tomsk Region to sign an agreement with Rusnano

A cooperation agreement of Tomsk Region and Rusnano’s Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs will be signed at Tomsk Innovation Forum INNOVUS.

According to the governor of Tomsk Region Sergey Zhvachkin, the cooperation agreement to be signed at the Energy of Innovation Development Forum on May 22 will differ from the previous one since it involves specific innovative projects. The agreement concerns projects in polymer coatings, nanotubes production, and ceramic prosthetic devices.

Rusnano Fund’s employees visited Tomsk early in the year and agreed to establish a working group to update a joint action plan to boost the demand for innovative and nanotech products in 2013-2014. New version of the plan will be approved at the INNOVUS forum.

In addition, a regulatory act of the Tomsk Region administration has been prepared with the assistance of Rusnano experts. It will provide an increase in the share of purchased innovative and nanotech products in the total annual purchases.
