Apple is still the most valuable brand in the worldRIA Novosti reports that Apple has once again been recognized as the most valuable brand in the world, being ahead of Google and IBM as seen from results of annual BrandZ study conducted by Millward Brown market intelligence company which traditionally makes a list of the world’s 100 most valuable brands.

Apple’s brand value is $185B, which is $2B more than a year ago. The company retained its positions despite significant decrease in stock prices - Apple's stock fell by 17% for a year.

The second and third places in the ranking are also occupied by tech brands - Internet company Google and IT developer IBM accordingly.

The top five includes such brands as Coca-Cola and McDonalds. U.S. mobile operator AT&T ranked the sixth; the seventh place went to Microsoft.

Facebook has lost its position dropping from the 19th to 31st place in the ranking. The brand of the social network with audience of over a billion people is valued at $21.3B or about a third of market capitalization.

Russian companies in BrandZ ranking are represented by Sberbank (70th place, the brand’s value is more than $12.66B) and MTS (82nd place, the brand’s value is about $10.63B).
