The winner of the Russian stage of Hackathon

The winner of the international stage of Hackathon AngelHack that took place on May 18-19 in Moscow is Alerter project. The project team will represent Russia at the finals of AngelHack Global Demo Day in San Francisco in September. There were more than 53 prototypes of projects developed for the two days of non-stop coding.

AngelHack Moscow was supported by Google, Yammer, PayPal, Paymill, Apps4All, MSU Business Incubator and SocialMart Company. On the first day, IT companies shared their experiences with the participants and told them about trends in the market of developments. The developers defended their projects on the second day during an hours-long pitch section.

Each team had 2 minutes to prove that their project was the best one. Representatives of venture funds and successful startup projects chose the winners of AngelHack.

The winners were determined following the two-day competition: Alerter project – an IOS guide on new Itunes offers, Schematika - an application to create 3D guides on event platforms, Solarfunk.tv - an app to instantly overlay music on a video series.

The main prize of Alerter team will be a trip to San Francisco to present its project at the international stage. In addition, the winners will take part in the AngelHack Accelerator Program, where they will meet with Silicon Valley experts.

The team of Anyboarding project for professional skaters won the special Prize of MSU Business Incubator. In addition, 4 projects also received special prizes from Hackathon’s sponsor PayPall Company.
