Startup Navigation. How to find a lost dog quickly? And how not to get lost on the way to an ...

The session was opened by GPS Friend – a navigation device for quick search of lost dogs. This topic became especially important for hunting societies. The price of each pet with pedigree ranges from USD 300 to USD 500 and losing even three dogs from the pack during the hunting season can be a considerable burden for the owners. This gadget will also help identifying if the lost dog is alive or not, as it will determine the dog’s pulse by way of optical connection to the animal’s artery.

Vitaliy Ovchinnikov presented WAYRAY – an innovative navigation device for motorists. It consists of two parts: a holographic film that is glued to the wind shield of the car and a diode divergent device. Planned pricing for commercialization is USD 500. The advantage of this navigation gadget is that the driver sees the road in real projection and can easily orientate himself on the road in advance. “The margin for car producers is not sizable, that’s why it is planned to further promote the equipment in supermarkets”, explains Vitaliy Ovchinnikov. The panel of judges asked whether KAMAZ producers would become the main competition on the market, to which Vitaliy assured them that this question is already looked into and a close cooperation is planned with the representatives of this car producer. Prospects for the nearest future are entering the shipbuilding and geolocation markets.
