Gazprom, Russia?s natural gas monopoly, applies IT algorithms for process control automation and uses innovation compressor plants at its Zapolyarnoye oil-gas condensate field under development in Russia?s Extreme North, Yamburg.ru, a regional web portal, reported citing a press release by Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg, a local Gazprom subsidiary. The Zapolyarnoye oil-gas condensate field was discovered in 1965 in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, in the Tyumen region north-east of the Urals. Zapolyarnoye is one of the world?s largest, with an estimated natural gas reserve of more than 3.5 trillion cubic meters. It is also said to contain about 60 million tons of gas condensate and 20 million tons of crude oil...
