Rostec and Siemens sign an agreement on cooperation in energy

United Engine Corporation in conjunction with Technopromexport signed an agreement with Siemens Company to expand the partnership in the energy sector. In particular, it is about joint projects to build gas-turbine power plants and construction of power facilities in Russia and abroad.

Agreements of Rostec and Siemens bring the Corporation companies to a new level of cooperation in such important area of economy as energy. We are talking about organization of joint activities on gas turbine power plants packaging, localization of component production for Siemens’ wide product line including wind power plants, cooperation and partnership in the construction of power plants both in Russia and abroad. – the Deputy General Director of Rostec Dmitry Shugaev says.

According to UEC General Director Vladislav Masalov, the development of partnership with Siemens will make it possible to increase participation in international energy projects, and will promote Russian technologies on the world market.

The companies also agreed to cooperate in the delivery of software and intelligent solutions for product lifecycle management (PLM), the press service of Rostec reports.
