A working group meeting on the future development of Krasnoyarsk Technopark took place at Krasnoyarsk Regional Innovation and Technology Business Incubator (KRITBI). The meeting was chaired by the Prime Minister of the Region Victor Tomenko and the Chairman of the Regional Legislative Assembly Alexander Uss. The event was attended by the Regional Parliament members, government representatives, heads of major regional high-tech and industrial enterprises, university rectors, and the academic community members.
The minister of investment and innovation Olga Ruhullaeva told the meeting participants about the main parameters and content of the project built on the European model. The European model of technology incubator creation suggests that the state takes a leading role in its establishment and management, creates conditions for rapid commercialization of developments and implementation of investment projects based on them. The state also takes part in the operation of the technopark’s innovative companies, stimulates their product exports, and provides all sorts of benefits, - the Minister says. According to her, this project supports almost all leading scientific institutions and major regional enterprises that require production modernization, import substitution, and innovative products.
Experts expressed their proposals for the project and willingness to take part in its implementation during a discussion after the project presentation. The rector of SibFU Evgeniy Vaganov offered to discuss the specialization of the industrial park, noting that it must implement a well-defined set of functions.
The Chairman of the Regional Legislative Assembly Alexander Uss proposed to make the working group permanent. I am very satisfied that the meeting took place and was attended by experts able to promote the creation of the industrial park - Alexander Uss says. - I believe that we should try to use this project with the maximum benefit to the Region. The Chairman of the Regional Government Viktor Tomenko supported the proposal and noted that the dialogue would be certainly continued.
