A Centre to stimulate demand for innovative products to appear in Tomsk

A meeting of regional innovation infrastructure representatives discussed the creation of a Centre to stimulate demand for innovative products in Tomsk Region. The Deputy Governor for scientific and educational complex and innovation policy Alexey Knyazev presented its project.

We conducted a study, which involved about 40 companies - Alexey Knyazev says. - More than half of them have no sales managers, and only a few have a balanced sales system. Most innovative companies in Tomsk Region experience difficulties in selling their products.

The demand stimulating Center will solve two problems: sales manager training and innovative product sales under dealer agreements. A selection for Innovative Marketing educational programme is scheduled for September. The training takes four months, and students will be engaged in real sales from the fourth month - Alexey Knyazev says.

A dealer center will start working at the end of this year. It is assumed that its structure will include four directions: Instrument making, Medicine and pharmaceutics, IT, Energy saving and energy efficiency, New Materials.
