SinproTEK Company wins IBM SmartCamp competition

Russia’s first final of tech startup competition IBM SmartCamp took place in Moscow. SinproTEK Company, a supplier of innovative energy-saving solutions for municipal utilities and oil and gas sector became the winner. SinproTEK showed the highest development potential in domestic and international markets compared to other finalists.

The winning company will participate in a three-month advanced mentoring programme of IBM, and present its project at the regional final of IBM SmartCamp in Europe.

A developer of solutions for diagnosis and monitoring treatment effectiveness of socially significant diseases AngioSkan-Electronics Company became the best in the Internet User Choice category according to online voting results, and received a special prize from the competition partner the Technovations Cup.

The competition’s two-day event programme included competitions and project presentations of five finalists, as well as roundtables and panel discussions of leading national and international experts who discussed the prospects of technological entrepreneurship in Russia.

IBM SmartCamp is part of IBM’s Global Entrepreneur programme introduced in Russia in 2012 in partnership with RVC JSC. The participation in the programme allows you to get free access to IBM’s software and hardware, technical support for the project, advice and assistance in finished product promotion in the market.
